7th Grade Regulator AAU Boys Win 2010 Anacortes Bill Taylor Memorial Classic

The Regulator AAU boys' basketball team won the 2010 Bill Taylor Memorial Classic tournament in Anacortes with wins over Burlington, Sports n Skillz (Lynden), Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo).

The Regulators defeated county rival Lynden 43-36 in a closely contested championship game. The Regulators outscored their opponents, 198-126 enroute to their 2nd consecutive tournament championship.

The team has posted a 23-2 record and is scheduled to play in the Martin Luther King tournament January 16-18th at WWU. The 7th grade boys Regulator team: Kyle Hofstetter, Dante Check, Chad Dickerson, Kalien Hayes, Jonathan Whetnall, Kyle Little, Clark Hazlett, Keanan Albrecht, Dalton Biehle, and Austin James. The team is coached by Tim Dickerson, Bob Hofstetter and Dave Whetnall.
